I think it was about 30 minutes later when they came back in and told me that we were going to emergency surgery and we were to be in the room within an hour and a half. It was probably the scariest but yet the most relieving thing I've ever been through. We didn't Wait very long before they ended up coming and getting us and we went upstairs to the emergency surgery postop room at this point we begin to sign some paperwork for anesthetic and will begin to give her baby boy kisses before he went into surgery and we had no clue what happened Beyond that very cold gray door . And lastly but not least before they rush kaiden in for surgery they asked us to sign some forms for blood transfusion and that's when my heart really sunk, I asked myself what is going to happen to my baby, is my baby going to be OK will he make it out of out of this alive and will he overcome all that God has already put him through. And at this point I have no answers I didn't know if my son was going to be OK I don't know if he was going to make it out alive and I did not know if he was going to overcome all that God has Artie put him through but I knew that this was the best thing for my son and I had to be strong as I begin to cry I slowly hand at the doctors with my son.
Once again I wait I feel like I've waited more over the last two days more then I've waited my entire life to have this handsome little strong fighter in my arms. They told us that surgery should take approximately three hours and there might be a point where they might have to remove a section of his intestines that does depend on the damage that is been caused by the complete obstruction. It was about one in the morning when they finally came out and got me and told me that Kaiden was done but ........ Yes that was about that we didn't want to hear he seems and I have gone pretty good he lost tons of blood during the surgery and since his intestines were out of his body for so long we had to do two separate blood transfusions now he was going to be in the PICU up with all the other kids that were dying of cancer or had horrible things going on in her life and I was not prepared for that myself. I remember to pray and ask God to continue to let me have the photo that I have and to be able to bring him home soon to his brothers and sister.
Attached above the first photo is of Kaiden's new scar after surgery the second photo shows his IV pick line G-tube as he was cuddled up and the third one to show how fast to sleep he was which was at least feeling the best he felt in the last few days
