Today, is just a non-stress test. No ultrasounds, no ob no blood work. Just the non-stress test.
So I go in, and yep what do you know I FORGOT THE BELLY BANDS, I told them its stupid to expect a pregnancy woman to remember anything but her freaking mind. gosh. Oh well they gave me new ones, got me hooked up to the machine. We were waiting for at least 20 minutes but they will give you about 35 minutes to get the results they need.
I had a feeling that last week during my non stress test she just pushed us through or I was close to failing because she's like next week we need a lot more then this. So I was prepared for bad news, and thankfully I was because guess what? We failed the non stress test. This pushed us to an emergency ultrasound called a BPP, this is a biophysical profile of the baby.
This meant we had 30 minutes for the baby to complete so man breathing motions, leg/arm/body movements, appropriate amniotic fluid levels and a good heart rate. These are scored out of 8 points, at 28 minutes we passed with 7/8 point scale. Which was good news, because I was not prepared for induction that day!
Doctors reviewed the results, and released me. Until next week, that is. Ha.
Next appointment is May 7, 2015.
We have ultrasound, non stress test, high risk ob and then a meeting for home health and health care while in the hospital post op for baby. It should be more of an all day assessment again (joys, not!)
